Service Description

This small group course offers guided instruction on the six primary kettlebell movements. Over the course of six weeks you will be taken through the necessary exercises getting you comfortable with the kettlebell swing, get up, clean, squat, press and snatch. These movements offer a dynamic full body work out and simultaneously improve strength and cardio systems. The amazing thing with a kettlebell, just one or two of these can be complete gym! Each session we will warm up, learn the basics, place them into a challenging but enjoyable workout before a cool down and stretch. Towards the end of the six weeks we can even try to play with some kettlebell flow sequences! Importance of resistance training - the benefits of weight training are expansive. Studies have found weight training for over 40s helps maintain hormonal balance, increases bone density and muscle mass, helps to keep off risk of type 2 diabetes, aids sleep patterns and improves general well being and functional strength. The group size is kept small to offer quality tuition with a focus on building safe movement patterns. This course is for beginners and suitable for both men and women. Included • Quality Coaching • Kettlebells • Group WhatsApp for questions/sharing/motivation/hints and tips. Not included • Wrist guards, recommended from week 2 (approx £15 amazon) • Gym/yoga mat to protect floors and for floor based movement. I am a fully insured kettlebell coach and member of the Chartered Institute for the Management of Physical Activity.

Cancellation Policy

Evening fitness hikes - to cancel or reschedule evening fitness hikes please give us at least 24 hours notice in advance. Day hikes - to cancel or reschedule day hikes we require 48 hours in advance. Multi day tours - please discuss with staff. Whilst we will do our best to accommodate changes this depends on how far in advance we have been given notice in relation to our payments to third party suppliers i.e accommodation etc.
