The 'Ancient' Long Man - Mini FEAT

From the Wilmington Priory car park in the South Downs National Park we will hike towards the large and mysterious Long Man of Wilmington. After a steady climb to the peak we can investigate the the ancient long barrows. Amongst stunning views, we then head southeast picking up some of the South Downs Way. We will turn West crossing a national nature reserve before heading back to the start point. The route back hits us with the incredible views down into Deep Dean valley. This walk will take approximately 4 hours, including breaks.
