The 'Ancient' Long Man - Mini FEAT

Service Description

From the Wilmington Priory car park in the South Downs National Park we will hike towards the large and mysterious Long Man of Wilmington. After a steady climb to the peak we can investigate the the ancient long barrows. Amongst stunning views, we then head southeast picking up some of the South Downs Way. We will turn West crossing a national nature reserve before heading back to the start point. The route back hits us with the incredible views down into Deep Dean valley. This walk will take approximately 4 hours, including breaks. However, we can adjust accordingly taking into account children's energy levels, weather etc. • Fully insured and qualified in remote & wilderness first aid.

Cancelation Policy

Evening fitness hikes - to cancel or reschedule evening fitness hikes please give us at least 24 hours notice in advance. Day hikes - to cancel or reschedule day hikes we require 48 hours in advance. Multi day tours - please discuss with staff. Whilst we will do our best to accommodate changes this depends on how far in advance we have been given notice in relation to our payments to third party suppliers i.e accommodation etc.
