Service Description
As one of England's first National Nature Reserves, Kingley Vale is marked by great biological and historical interest. Starting on a northwards, gentle uphill brings us to the village of East Marden, where we turn back south through fields and ancient woodland that lines our path to Stoughton. After a steep uphill from Stoughton, we stop for lunch in the magical atmosphere of ancient yew tree woodland. We then traverse the Kingley Vale National Nature Reserve up to the burial mounds of Bow Hill (also called The Devil's Humps or Kings' Graves). From this high point with stunning 360° views over surrounding countryside, we head back for a final undulation to our starting point.
