Exploring Friston Forest Mini FEAT

  • 6 British pounds
  • BN26 5RF

Service Description

Come on a micro adventure with the kids exploring the expansive beech woodland of Friston Forest. This surprisingly little-known forest offers hills, valleys, stunning views, and miles of trail. One of the best things about this stunning forest is the shelter it provides for both hot or rainy days. We start in Friston Forest Car Park and walk a beautiful 8km route. Parents, you can brush up on your map reading skills (if you wish) as we provide laminated routed area maps. Otherwise, feel free to simply be guided so you can enjoy the trail whilst watching your child unplug and be immersed in nature. We will stop for a picnic on route and, if need be, stop for another break. The walk is about 3 hours including breaks and dependant on the kids pace that day. Location - BN26 5RF (nearest) Essentially, once here keep driving South through Litlington on the same road for a good few minutes/couple of km, until you get to the Friston Forest Car Park. If you get to the Seven Sisters Car Park - you have gone a little too far. Parking is metered and accepts card payments. Alternatively you can download the Ringo Parking App in advance. • Please bring a packed lunch and snacks. • The distance routed is 8km. However, we can adjust accordingly taking into account children's energy levels, weather etc. • Fully insured and qualified in remote & wilderness first aid.
